Digital Dosing Pump E01B – 90 to 200 L/h, up to 10 bar

Overview

The digital dosing pump E01B is the mid-range series for municipal and industrial plants. It covers 3 models, from 90 L/h · 10 bar to 200 L/h · 4 bar. First, a vector motor drives the diaphragm directly. As a result, you set the flow digitally anywhere in a 1:3333 range, and the pump repeats each dose to within ±0.5–1 % of full scale.

In addition, the E01B runs almost pulsation-free, because the motor controls the stroke speed rather than counting strokes. Slow modes at 50 % and 25 % speed therefore handle viscous chemicals up to 800 and 1500 cP.

The B series steps up to 90–200 L/h with DN20 PVC pipe connections and a PVC pump head for larger treatment plants. (Illustration shows the E01 series design; the E01B uses a larger housing.)

How you control the digital dosing pump E01B

You set everything on the pump itself: flow rate, pressure limits, wear-part monitoring, concentration proportioning and function switching. For plant control, the E01B offers RS485/Modbus, 4–20 mA, voltage and pulse inputs. Which of these are fitted depends on the electrical version, so we specify it with you.

Moreover, a sensor measures the conductivity inside the diaphragm and raises an alarm if the diaphragm cracks. Pipe-network pressure monitoring also flags blocked or leaking lines. Finally, a quick-release base takes the pump off its mount in seconds for service.

Where to use the digital dosing pump E01B

The digital dosing pump E01B feeds coagulant, flocculant, hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide precursors, acid and caustic in water and wastewater plants. It also serves cooling-water and boiler-water treatment. In addition, mining, food, chemical and manufacturing plants use it for process dosing. For example, a pH or concentration control loop can drive the pump through its 4–20 mA or Modbus input.

How does the digital dosing pump E01B differ from a solenoid pump?

A solenoid pump doses in fixed strokes, so you turn it down by stroke frequency. The vector motor of the E01, however, controls the stroke speed itself. As a result, you get a far wider setting range, smoother output and precise dosing of viscous chemicals.

Can a PLC or controller drive it?

Yes. RS485/Modbus, 4–20 mA, voltage and pulse (water-meter contact) inputs are available, depending on the electrical version. In addition, the pump reports pressure, diaphragm and wear-part alarms.
