Overview

The OPTIMA A 5L/10B is an analogue solenoid dosing pump rated 5 L/h at 10 bar. In other words, it meters treatment chemicals at up to 5 litres per hour against a counter pressure of 10 bar. You set the dose rate on a front-panel potentiometer. In addition, an on/off button stops dosing without isolating the supply.

An electronically controlled electromagnet drives a long-life PTFE diaphragm. As a result, there is no motor, gearbox or oil to maintain. The pump mounts vertically at the tank or on the wall, and it simply runs.

The standard build uses a PVDF pump head, a PTFE diaphragm and Viton (FKM) seals. Therefore it suits hypochlorite, coagulant, acid and alkali dosing. For chemicals that attack Viton, however, choose the V-PTFE variant of this solenoid dosing pump (5 L/h, 10 bar).
