Why is glycine used in oxidant testing?
It reacts with free chlorine and takes it out of the picture, so the colour that develops afterwards comes only from the other oxidant being measured.

Which grade is this tablet?
This is the supplier’s TC grade of the reagent. If you need the photometer or rapid-dissolving grade of the same parameter, tell us which instrument you use and we will confirm the right one.

How should the tablets be stored?
Keep them sealed, cool and dry, and work through the oldest strip first. Once a strip is opened the tablets take up moisture, so use them promptly.
